Construction
1.Construct at APQR, given that QR = 3 cm, 2Q=45° and PQ + QR = 6 cm.
2.Construct a AABC such that BC = 4 cm, 2B=60° and AC-AB=2 cm.
3.Construct a triangle XYZ in which 2Y=30°, 2Z=90° and XY+YZ+ ZX = 11 cm.
4.Construct angles of following measurements and justify the construction.
(i) 30°(ii) 45°(iii) 15°(iv) 75°(v) 105°(vi) 135°.
5.Construct a triangle with perimeter 10 cm and base angles 60° and 45°. Write the steps of construction.
6.Construct a quadrilateral ABCD in which AB = 6.3 cm, BC=5.2 cm, CD=5.6 cm, DA=7.1 cm
and 2B=60° construct a triangle equal in area to this quadrilateral. Write the steps of construction.
7.Construct a triangle with base length 5 cm, the sum of other two sides is 7 cm and one base
angle is 60°.
8.Construct a triangle ABC whose perimeter is 12 cm and 2B=80°, C=60°. (Steps of construction
are not required).
